Etty Retno Wulandari has more than 26 years of experience as a regulator in the Indonesian financial services industry. Before joining Grow Investment, Etty served at the Indonesian Financial Services Authority (OJK) since its inception in 2013 with her last position as Deputy Commissioner for Strategic Management who was responsible for implementing financial functions, managing information systems, and developing strategic policies related to financial services industries. Previously, Etty worked as a capital markets regulator at the Capital Markets and Financial Institutions Supervisory Agency (Bapepam LK) since 1996 with her last position as Head of the Accounting Standards and Disclosure Bureau who was responsible for preparing various regulations in the fields of accounting, auditing and corporate governance for capital market participants.
As a regulator, Etty actively contributes to the development of the financial services industry, both on a national, regional and international scale. Etty represents Indonesia as a member of the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) Advisory Council during the 2017-2020 period, and a member of the Financial Accounting Standards Board of the Indonesian Institute of Accountants (DSAK-IAI) during the 2007-2012 period.
Currently, Etty is a member of the Audit Committee at PT Pendanaan Efek Indonesia, chairman of the advisory board at KOPOJEKA (Financial Services Authority Employee Cooperative) and an active lecturer at several universities in Indonesia.
Etty is a graduate of the State College of Accountancy, holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Rochester, United States and a Ph.D. degree in Accounting from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
Etty also has an individual license as an Investment Manager Representative based on OJK Board of Commissioners Decree No. KEP-147/PM.02/WMI/TTE/2023 dated 23 November 2023 and as Underwriter Representative based on OJK Board of Commissioners Decree No. KEP- 3/PM.021/WPEE/TTE/2023 dated 7 December 2023.
